 Josee , a high school student in Ottawa, created and sold lovely flower pots as a student project and raised $445 for BCA! WOW!!

Allison Prest, fitness director at the Goulbourn Recreation Complex, organized the “Breast Friends FUNdraiser” on May 6, 2011.

Gavin Murphy donated the proceeds from his Thunderstruck Show at Gallery Farina and at the Bank Street Desjardins Credit Union.

Murale at Place d’Orleans had a pampering morning for our dragon boat paddlers.

Pauline Cramphorn and Juliet Greene organized a Zumba fundraiser, along with the City of Ottawa, Goodlife Fitness and Quality Entertainment.

Ezcape Spa, Orleans had a Think Pink day at their spa.

Stroked Ego, Bank Street hosted a Ladies Night for BCA.

The York Managers “went to jail” and were bailed out by their staff with proceeds going to BCA.

Members and Volunteers of BCA had a bake sale with the Christmas Exchange.

Denise Bellingham and the Manotick Curling Centre organized a Perky in Pink Women’s Invitational Bonspiel on March 5, 2011.

Ryan Burke, Adrian Kidd, Rachel Lieff and their crew from Acacia Fraternity, Alpha Pi Phi and Tau Sigma Phi Sororities collected donations on the Carleton University campus.

PRETTY IN PINK – 1st Annual Fundraiser at Club NINE on ELGIN raised a substantial amount of money for BCA. In partnership with Club Nine, MAC2MAC MEDIA hosted a great event. The event brought awareness of breast cancer and its underlying challenges during a fun and entertaining evening. MAC2MAC MEDIA would like to thank BCA for their generous donations of prizes that were used at the event. We look forward to future fundraisers and continuing to raise money for BCA. All monies raised go directly into programs for breast cancer survivors and patients. BCA thanks MAC2MAC Media, Aaron MacFarlane and Christina Reitbauer!

FuryWLeagePDLCrestsOttawa Fury Women’s Team held a “Think Pink” Night on July 14th 2010. Their pink warm up jerseys were signed by the players and sold to the fans to raise money for BCA. Along with the silent auction, donations, goal pledges and merchandise sales they raised over $1,000.00 for BCA.

Breast Cancer Action would like to thank James Tam for volunteering his time to the Saturday Tai Chi Class. You are an awesome instructor and a valued member of our BCA family.

We have many fitness partners in the community, who allow us to use their space at reduced rates. It would be financially challenging for us to offer these programs without our wonderful partners:  Goulbourn Recreation Complex, Nepean Creative Arts Centre, Ray Friel Centre, RA Centre, Rideau Tennis Club and Walter Baker Sports Centre, Glen Cairn Community Centre. Thank you!
