The Kelly Project
At the pre-op session, any woman scheduled for a mastectomy will receive information about how to obtain a certificate for a camisole through the Kelly Project, at no charge to her.
The Kelly Project is a collaboration project between Breast Cancer Action and Kelly’s Boutique. The goal of this project is to ensure that every woman having a mastectomy is presented with a certificate so she can procure a post-op camisole that will be at no cost to her. Breast Cancer Action volunteers and staff will distribute these certificates to all hospitals in the greater Ottawa area performing mastectomies at the patient’s pre-op session.
Patients are strongly recommended to come in to Kelly’s to receive their garment before their surgery date.
